Okay, this video was shot during my fish hunting trip on 26th May 2009.
I don't think National Geographic or Discovery have ever documented on this fishes......lol
Anyway this is my simple, down to earth, video documentary on Borneo suckers.
Enjoy...

nice clip, you didn't by any chance measure the temperature of the water?
Hi Janma, thanks for the comment. Oh yeah, I did measure the temperature, it's around 24 degree Celcius.
Are you keeping any of this fish?
Ok, its the temp that has me puzzled all the time. The recomendation is 20-24, but the there are ppl who have been there and measured up to 28. My personal opinion is around 24.
Yes I have several different Gastromyzons, check out:

You can also find me at LOL-forum.
I'll be following you're blog :)
Nice fish you got there. are they the zebrinus species?
I guess it depends on the location where the suckers were caught. Like the one I caught, they are located near a waterfall. I've also seen suckers further down stream, where I think the temperature might be a little higher.
Anyway, the next time I post a blog of my expedition, I will include the temperature :)
