Okay...here's my first DIY for My Little Underwater Eden.

See this kind of aquarium plastic background?

Ordinary aquarium plastic background

Well this came together with the aquarium I got from my junior....It's very common, and I find it quite lame.....so here's what I did to make my aquarium more interesting...

I made my own background, and a more lively one, in fact it is real life. And this is what they call "Moss Wall."

Okay, here's an example of what a moss wall looks like when properly done....

Ofcourse those moss wall are not mine......I just finish making mine, and waiting for it to grow...Anyway if you like to have one of this moss wall and were thinking of how to make one your own, then watch my "Step By Step DIY Java Moss Wall Video".......hope you enjoy the videos and find it informative

such an amazing creation.....you have given me inspiration to make my own moss wall aquarium....but after some time dont the other sides of the tank turn green..how frequently do you change water...??how do you maintain the clarity of the glass on the other sides???

Hi Aswathy, sorry for the late reply, I was back in my hometown for the Chinese New Year celebration, and I couldn't get a good internet connection there :(

Anyway here's the answers to your question...
After setting up the moss wall, I never bothered what would happen on the other side of the tank. It doesn't matter if there's algae on the other side, the moss wall will cover it up, and you can't view it from the front of your tank anyway :)

About water change, you can practice the usual weekly water change. But for me, I hardly do any water change :) accept for topping up the water loss :D
