Okay, finally found a suitable spot to place a tank for Glossostigma elatinoides and Dwarf Hairgrass. This is partly going to be an experiment, and if it turns well in the near future, it will stay at that spot as part of deco in my house :D
This project started on the 5th of July 2009....this is part my of experiment to try grow both plants together is emersed condition. I've never done this before, but I think it might work, as I've seen people planting them emersed. The only thing that makes me different from those planted tank guys is that I'm not using those substrate specially for aquatic plants, I'm using my own substrate recipe, just some potting soil and sand......LOL, those aquatic plant substrate are expensive!
So here's the simple step by step process video...enjoy :)
For more pics of the whole process, please check out my photo album below
I hope this experiment work the way I want it to be....Will be updating bout them soon...
Cheers :D

Hi,
I planted Glosso in my nano tank(8-10 gallon) with 38 watt CFL . but my Glosso leaves are not shaping broad :( it is of small narrow leaf. I have DIY co2 . Can you help me identifying the problem ?
Hi,
is it small, narrow and light green leaf?
May I know your water temperature?
yes its small, narrow and light green leaf
its around 25-27 degree celcius
Ok...I thought it's gotta do with temperature, can give full tank stats?
where did you get your glossos from? what form where they before you plant them? emersed form or submerged?
how long you grow you glosso?
my tank is a 1 ft cube having 8-9 guppies and 2 otos.
Got the glosso from local LFS. It was sumberged as I got along with subtrate .
I am growing for 2-3 months and not all leaves are narrow around 90% are narrow ret are same as shown in your photo (broad leaf) .
hmm...ok, what about pH, substrate, and other water parameters?
funny.....I still cant figure out the problem yet....I know I do see small, narrow and light green leaf when kept in higher temperature.
do you give fertilizer to your plants? if so, what sort of fertilizer?
I do fertilize with Do AQUA BE Green 3 times in a week.I'll try to post a picture then you will be more clear. I have ADA Aqua AmazoniaII subtrate. Donot have pH tester :(
